|
Windows Mail (Vista) 1. In Windows Mail, from the tools menu, select Accounts.
2. Select AndyCable account and click properties button.
3. Select Servers Tab.
4. Under ‘Outgoing Mail Servers’ , check the ‘my server requires authentication’ box.
5. Click OK and Close.

Outlook Express/98/2000
1. In Outlook, from the tools menu, select Accounts.
2. Under Mail tab, select mail.andycable.com and click properties button.
3. Select Servers Tab.
4. Under ‘Outgoing Mail Servers’ , check the ‘my server requires authentication’ box.
5. Click OK and Close.

Outlook XP/2002/2003
1. In Outlook, From the tools menu, select Email Accounts.
2. Verify the circle-box view or change existing email accounts is selected and click next.
3. select the AndyCable account and click ‘change’
4. Click ‘More Settings’ and then the ‘Outgoing Servers Tab’.
5. Click circle-box ‘My Outgoing server Requires Authentication’ & verify circle-box ‘use same settings as my incoming mailer server’ is selected.
6. click ok and finish to close and save
Note: DO NOT USE the ‘test account setting” button to test the seeing . This will fail.

Mozilla Thunderbird 1. In Thunderbird, from the tools menu, select Accounts.
2. Select the entry ‘Outgoing Server’ (SMTP)
3. Verify the Username and password box is checked.
4. In username box enter the first part of your email address.
5. click OK. Authentication has now been enabled
Note: You will be prompted for your password the first time you send mail. Be sure to check ’Use password manager’ to remember the password if you do not want to type it in every time you want to send email.

Outlook 2007
1. In Outlook, from the tools menu, select Accounts.
2. Select Email Tab, and select AndyCable account.
3. Click ‘Change’ then click ‘More Settings’
4. Click ‘Outgoing Server’ tab
5. Check the ‘my server requires authentication’ box & verify that the circle-box ‘use same settings as my incoming mail server’ is selected.
6. Click OK, then Click ‘Finish’, then Click ‘Close’
Note: DO NOT USE the ‘test account setting” button to test the seeing . This will fail.
